Justina Yawson is popularly known as a worship leader, a wife, a mum and a passionate lover and follower of Jesus Christ. A Ghanaian born British, currently living in the UK with her husband and children.

Raised by Pastors, Justina grew up in a concentrated Christian environment where ministry played a central role in her family’s life. Amidst this, she discovered, her love for songwriting and gospel music grew through her commitments in church activities and various leadership roles where music was concerned. 

Throughout her primary and secondary education, she was committed to expressing her love for music through Musical Arts. Her energetic, spontaneous personality and the evident gift of singing offered several opportunities to lead songs on various platforms. 

As time went by, the turns in life’s events led her to pursue a career in circular music. As she tried to evolve in her new career, she was faced with the dilemma of trying to successfully maintain the church “Christian” lifestyle as well as fit in her circular lifestyle. Despite the great demand from both lives, these separate identities questioned the truth and the purpose of her commitments. 

Amid the sense of loss and misdirection, she had an unexpected meeting with Jesus. Justina accepted an invitation to a deeper, intimate walk with God. Though it seemed to be an invitation to a journey of the unknown, she fully surrendered her life to Christ. Since her journey began, she’s never looked back. As she developed a closer relationship with the Holy Spirit, she discovered there is much more.

With Her passion of pursuing a lifestyle of true worship, she’s had the opportunity to lead people in God’s presence in various church settings and many other platforms. She’s had the opportunity to lead and mentor a youth music band, direct Church Choirs, and support growing music ministries. She currently serves under Worship Missionaries and serves at Church.

Justina’s journey is all about sharing Jesus in the best expression gifted to her. Her new single, ‘My God’, and her YouTube Channel ‘HeartStrings’ is the unravelling of something new!
